My conception.

Don't get me wrong here, i love my life! It is generally one of the best lives going. Even if just now i'm going through a patch that that's not quite as smooth as I would like, I know that it'll be over soon enough. But in all honesty, if we trace everything back to its root, if i had not been born i would have no problems! Then again there is the issue that not having been born, i wouldn't be able to enjoy my problem free life...lol hmm seems to be akin to one of those infinity signs; +birth ---> +problems= lack of enjoyment. but then : -birth ---> -problems =enjoyment with the side effect of noone to do the enjoying...

Story is: Saturday night my parents were out of the house leaving just me, -tsiken-, and and -lollipop- in the house. Just before leaving -mother dearest- defrosted some meat, she told us it was a pork chop and the we were to eat it. SABOTAGE! On inspection the alleged pork chop was in fact pork spare ribs, a lot of them.

Pork is not easy to cook. Pork is not something we like to eat. Why pork? Why pork spare ribs? They are impossible to cook in doors or in a short time. Sabotage. Everytime -tsiken- or i try to cook in this house -mother dearest- will do everything in her power to make it as unenjoyable as possible. Luckily the spare ribs turned out ok, noone got food poisoning even if we over ate, somehow cooking them was even half fun.

When -mother dearest- and -papa bear- finally got back to the house, -tsiken- and i just had to ask the logic of the spare ribs. -Mother dearest- over-reacted and the conversation went a little like this:

tsiken: so when you said pork chop, you know that you defrosted a whole load of pork spare ribs?

mother dearest: what?? ....yeah of course i did...that's what i told you i defrosted.

tsiken: no you said chop, but that's ok, we cooked the spare ribs and they were ok. just next time can you pay more attention.

mother dearest: but you said yes to spare ribs

tsiken: i dont like spare ribs. but that's ok, we ate them, they turned out ok. just next time let me defrost my own meat please.

mother dearest: you said you wanted ribs! ...oh, i see the where it all went wrong. i asked if you wanted pork chops and then i asked if you wanted ribs. i thought you wanted ribs.

tsiken and i: you never said anything about spare ribs...

mother dearest: no it's fine. i get it. i see my fatal error.

tsiken and i: it's not a big deal, it was a mistake (cue covert looks accusing sabotage)

mother dearest: no i see the fatal error.

tsiken: noone died mum, it was just a mistake, it doesn't matter...etc etc

point is: this stupid (but seemingly familiar conversation) was the catalyst for the name of this blog. -mother dearest's- mistake was not a fatal error just her usual sabotage, on the other hand a much bigger trail of mistakes was marrying -papa bear-, not practicing abstinence or safe sex and therefore conceiving me. It was a vital error, vital in bringing me to life, mistaken in having a child with someone she never loved and never understood...one vital error
